Ghazipur district administration took action to attach seven crore land of Rajendra Kushwaha, an education mafia resident of Raghunathpur Cantonment line of Sadar Kotwali area, on Friday between Munadi.
Sadar Circle Officer Ojaswi Chawla informed that campaign is being run against land mafia and education mafia in the state. Under this campaign, action was taken on the orders of District Magistrate Mangala Prasad Singh under Section 14(1) of the Gangster Act. Education mafia Rajendra Kushwaha, resident of Raghunathpur Cantonment line of Sadar Kotwali area, had purchased 1543 acre of 0.2786 hectares on June 26, 2015 in the name of his son Ramesh Kushwaha.
Action has been taken to attach this land in the midst of Munadi. He said that the attached assets are worth about seven crores. Sadar SDM Anirudh Pratap Singh, Tehsildar Abhishek Rai, Sadar Kotwali Deependra Singh, Naib Tehsildar were in the team that took action of attachment. During this the police force was present.
On the orders of the district administration, in August last year, Budham Sharanam Inter College, Glorious Public School, Adarsh Village Cantonment Line, an educational institution managed by Rajendra Kushwaha’s brother Paras Kushwaha, and Fattehullahpur Degree College building and ten plots and six bikes, four luxury Vehicles were attached.
