South African legend AB de Villiers has retired from all forms of cricket. With this an era came to an end. De Villiers wrote a new definition of batting in T20 cricket. He came to be called Mr 360 because of his ability to shoot all around the field, but in real life he was also Mr 360. Everything he touched in his career turned gold. His statistics in his cricket and rest of the records testify to this. De Villiers showed his mettle in nine sports including cricket. Apart from this, won the medal for the science project and also showed fire in the world of music.
De Villiers holds the record for the fastest century in the history of ODI cricket. He scored a century against West Indies in just 31 balls. He has also scored the fastest half-century (16 balls) and 150 runs (64 balls) in ODIs. De Villiers’ father was a doctor and wanted to become a doctor like his father, but after his success in cricket and other sports, he changed his mind.

In 228 ODIs, he has scored 9577 runs at an average of 53.50. During this, his bat has also scored 25 centuries and 53 half-centuries. At the same time, he has also taken seven wickets by bowling in nine innings. Along with this, he has taken 176 catches and has also done five stumpings.
De Villiers was an amazing batsman in T20 but his figures are not special according to his stature. He has scored 1672 runs in 78 matches at an average of 26.12. No century came off his bat.
