According to a source, Zycov-D, which has been approved by India’s drug regulator to be administered to people aged 12 years and above, will be administered to adults only as part of the national anti-Covid vaccination campaign. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on Thursday that the government does not want to rush to vaccinate children with anti-Covid vaccine and any decision in this regard will be taken only on the basis of expert opinion.
Regarding the introduction of vaccination of children in view of the emergency use of Zydus Cadila vaccine for people 12 years of age and above, Mandaviya had said that nowhere in the world did children get the Kovid-19 vaccine on a large scale. is going.
