Jasan, Ludhiana. Snatching in Ludhiana: The model town police arrested the snatcher who was trying to sell the snatched mobile and the said mobile phone was also recovered from his possession. A case was registered against him and he was presented in the court on Monday. From where strict interrogation is being done after getting one day’s remand. ASI Sita Ram said that he was identified as Aonkar Singh Fauji, a resident of Preet Nagar, New Shimla Puri. The police had received secret information on Sunday evening that the accused commits robbery and snatching incidents.
Even today, that snatched mobile has come out in an attempt to sell it to a customer. On the basis of information, he was brought under control during the blockade at Safaida Chowk. Sita Ram said that the old record of the accused is being checked. Many important revelations are likely to be made in his interrogation.

Ludhiana. A person who came out wearing shoes on the carpet laid for the dharna was attacked with a deadly attack by two angry people with a khande. After seriously injuring her, both of them fled threatening to kill her. The injured was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Now the Moti Nagar police station has started the search for the accused by registering a case on the charge of attempt to murder. ASI Sulkhan Singh said that they were identified as Damandeep Singh and Shivdeep Singh, residents of 33 Futa Road. The police registered a case against him on the complaint of Bhawandeep Singh, a resident of street number 20 of Punjab Mata Nagar. In his statement, he told that a dharna was being held at Samrala Chowk on 30 October for the arrest of Anil Arora, who had spoken abusively against Guru Nanak Dev Ji. He also went to attend it. When he started coming back from there, by mistake his shoe fell on the door. Angry over the same matter, the accused attacked him after arguing with him. Damandeep Singh attacked him with the khanda held in his hand with the intention of killing him. After killing him, both of them fled.
