A case of raping a Dalit girl on the pretext of marriage has come to light in Budh Vihar, Delhi. On pressurizing the girl’s marriage, the accused put a condition to change religion. After that, the victim has complained to the accused in Budh Vihar police station for changing religion and friendship, raping on the pretext of marriage and killing her.

Police have registered a case and a team has been sent to Bihar to arrest the accused. The 19-year-old girl is originally from Madhubani in Bihar and belongs to Scheduled Caste. Lives in Budh Vihar area with family.

Two days ago, in the complaint given to the police, the girl told that she got acquainted with a young man three months ago. He told his name as Raj. He used to work in a factory located in Bawana industrial area. After the conversation, the two became friends. On July 6, Raj called her to meet him at a place and raped her.

On protesting, he talked about getting married. After that he met several times and raped her. The girl put pressure on Raj for marriage. The young man put a condition on the girl to change her religion for marriage. The youth told that his real name is Maqbool. He is a resident of Madhubani Bihar.
