Porsche electric car that runs 484 km on a single charge is coming to India on November 12

Porsche is now about to launch its flagship high-performance electric car in India. The company has informed that Porsche’s first only electric car is currently bringing Taycan to India on 12 November. This beautiful electric sedan car comes equipped with powerful features and it is well ahead of other electric cars in the market in terms of range too. The Taycan Electric Car has a single charge range of around 484 kms. Two battery pack options are available in this car.

Porche Taycan is to be launched on November 12. Earlier this model has been launched in the global market. According to the company, 28,640 units have been sold in various markets across the world within the next nine months of its launch. Porsche announced the Taycan electric car in September 2019 and the company was supposed to introduce the car in India in early 2020, but the launch was postponed due to the Covid pandemic.

The Porsche Taycan comes with a beautiful design. Its look is very sporty. Its length is 4,963 mm, width is 2,144 mm and height is 1,378 mm. Its wheelbase is 2,900 mm. This is a four-door car. Talking about the interior, it gets a massive 16.8-inch freestanding curved digital instrument panel. Not only this, it also has an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The EV will be equipped with a ‘Porsche Charge Map’, which provides the driver with information on all the charging stations on the go.

Porsche has also left no stone unturned in terms of safety. Many airbags are available in this car. Apart from this, features like automatic braking and collision warning have also been given in it.

The Taycan EV has two electric motors, paired with 71kWh or 83.7kWh battery options. Thanks to this, the car is capable of delivering a total maximum output of 600hp and a maximum range of 500 kms. The company claims that this electric car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in less than 3.5 seconds. At present, it is not known in how many trims the car will be launched in India. Porsche India is expected to reveal the details of the trims along with the price and availability of this car in the Indian market on November 12.
