Almora. The Almora Champion League-2021 cricket competition started on Monday on behalf of Mehra Sports Academy, Almora. Mehra Sports Academy team defeated Bhatt Cricket Academy in the opening match.
The team of Bhatt Academy, who came to bat first in the opening match, was all out after scoring 108 runs in 21 overs. Chasing the target, the team of Mehra Sports registered a resounding victory by achieving the target for the loss of three wickets in the 14th over. Earlier, Chief Guest BJP District President Ravi Rautela and Special Guest Coach Liaquat Ali inaugurated the match. Steering committee chairman Ajit Karki did it.
