Kaimur: There is a high alert regarding liquor in Bihar, but its liquor smugglers are not being stopped. This can be gauged from the case of liquor smuggling exposed after police action in Kaimur. Here Durgavati and Mohania police have seized about 2529 liters of illicit liquor during checking.

2,529 liters of illicit liquor seized
Let us tell you that the Police and Excise Department are alert after the directions of the Chief Minister on prohibition of liquor. Police have increased checking at every naka and checkpost. Police was also checking at Mohania’s consolidated checkpost. During this, the police and the department team have seized about 2,529 liters of illicit liquor.

Delivery of liquor via UP!
In fact, during checking, the police caught a truck, in which the boxes were of a different company and the sticker on them was from another company. The police got suspicious on this. At the same time, when the police opened the boxes and investigated, they were left stunned. All the boxes were filled with illicit liquor.

Here, the truck driver has been arrested and is being questioned. 2900 cash and a mobile have been recovered from the accused. According to the information, liquor is being delivered in Bihar via UP.

On the other hand, Durgavati police station caught a car during checking. The accused had hidden liquor bottles by making a basement in the trunk of a four-wheeler. The police seized about 162 liters of illicit liquor from the car. Along with this, three people were also arrested by the police.

Strictness increased after review
