Tamil-language film ‘Jai Bheem’ has got the best ranking on IMDb, a site related to films.

The film has been favored by the audience over classic cinema like ‘The Shawshank Redemption’ and ‘The Godfather’.

Film journalist Aseem Chhabra wrote about it that it is the newest of the series of serious Indian films. He says that in this film, the story of the oppression against the Dalits at the lowest rung in the strict caste system of Hinduism.

In the beginning of ‘Jai Bheem’ it is shown that some police officers are separating suspects on the basis of caste. In that scene, people who belong to the dominant castes are asked to leave. At the same time, those who are Dalits or Adivasis, they are asked to stay. Later the police make false allegations against the weaker sections of the people.
