Chhipabar Police has arrested an accused of bike theft. Three bikes have been recovered from the accused, which he had stolen from Morgarhi and Charuva in the last three days. Two of these bikes belong to two merchants of Morgarhi. TI Sunil Yadav told that the bike number MP 47 MD 6278 of Morgarhi resident Mohammad Javed Khatri was stolen from in front of his grocery shop on the intervening night of 13 and 14 November. Just a day later, another of his bike number MP 47 mm 8569 was also taken away by a thief. On the complaint of the complainant, a case was registered in the police station against an unknown person under section 379. Similarly, a bike number MP 12 MB 8574 belonging to Mukesh’s father Chhajjulal Rai in village Charuva was also stolen from outside his house on the intervening night of November 12 and 13. A report was also filed for this.
Taking the bike theft incident seriously, a team was constituted, which included TI Sunil Yadav, ASI Suratlal Malviya, Head Constable Kanchan Singh Rajput. On the basis of suspicion, the police detained Gopal (21 years) father Shivlal Korku, a resident of village Sanvalkheda and interrogated him in a psychological way. During interrogation, he confessed to his crime. On the behest of the accused, the police recovered both the bikes stolen from Morgarhi from his house. The parts of the bike stolen from Charuva were recovered from the forest near Sirali. The police arrested the accused and produced him in the court, from where he was sent to jail.
