World’s richest industrialist Elon Musk’s company SpaceX is all set to enter the broadband sector in India. On Monday, it set up its subsidiary Starlink in India.

With 2 lakh active terminals, the company aims to enter the Indian market by December 2022, a top company official said. The company is now just waiting for the permission of the government.

The company said, SpaceX now has a 100% owned company in India. Its name is SSCPL- Starlink Satellite Communications Private Limited. Happy Birthday SSCPL. Now we will apply for the license.

For pre-booking Starlink Internet, $ 99 i.e. about Rs 7,300 will have to be paid as security, which will be for router etc. Once the payment is done, the booking will be confirmed at your location. Initially, customers will get 50-150Mbps speed during beta testing, although Elon Musk has said that after completion of testing, speeds of up to 300Mbps will be given. Musk has also said that there are plans to provide internet through Starlink all over the world.
