New Delhi. PTI. Italian superbike company Ducati on Monday launched its limited edition Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse motorcycle in India. The company says that it will make this limited edition only 800 units. The ex-showroom price of the new bike in the country will be Rs 10.99 lakh.
Ducati India said in a statement that this bike is being launched to celebrate the collaboration between Ducati Scrambler and American clothing brand Fasthouse. The Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse bike is powered by an 803cc engine.
The company said, this special edition will be made only 800 units globally.
He said, “The Scrambler Desert SledFasthouse bike is the best option for an off-road bike and the people of India know this very well.”
Bipul Chandra, MD, Ducati India said, “Fasthouse has a totally different looking Scrambler Desert Sled Lever in recent times and it is one of the most amazing desert machines. This is the reason why only 800 people across the world are visiting this Ducati Scrambler Desert. Will be able to buy the Sled.”
The company, without disclosing further details, said that all the vehicles that came to India have been sold and the delivery of the bikes will start from Monday.
Let us tell you, earlier Ducati launched the BS6 Ducati Desert Sled and Scrambler NightShift in India. Whose cost was Rs 10.89 lakh and Rs 9.8 lakh respectively. The Ducati Scrambler Nightshift was introduced as a touring motorcycle with cafe racer styling, while the Desert Sled Scrambler range was introduced as an off-road bike.
The thing to note here is that the BS6 Desert Sled is much more expensive than the old BS4 model. The BS4 Desert Sled was launched in 2019 at Rs 9.93 lakh. At the same time, the price of Nightshift BS4 Scrambler Cafe Racer was Rs 9.78 lakh.
