Bhilai News: One year of mobile medical unit operation completed

Bhilai. On November 1, one year of operation of the Mobile Medical Unit was completed. In this one year 65 thousand people were treated. On completion of one year, the corporation administration honored the medical staff.

Let us inform that in the year 2020, the scheme was launched to provide free health care through mobile medical units. Since then, the common man had started getting free medicines along with free treatment in his locality.

Corporation Commissioner Prakash Sarve honored the medical team of the Mobile Medical Unit, which played an important role in the successful operation of the Mobile Medical Unit and making the patients healthy.

Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure has appreciated the work of the medical staff. The commissioner said that the medical service provided by the Mobile Medical Unit in one year to the common man in every difficult situation is exemplary.

According to the intention of the government, patients are getting health benefits due to free health service in the locality itself. Nodal Officer BK Devangan informed that since the inception of the scheme, 876 camps have been organized, where 65,000 beneficiaries have been benefitted.

On the other hand, in Dai-Didi clinics, women and girls are taking their health benefits without any hesitation by getting their treatment done by female doctors. The mobile medical unit has proved to be a boon for the poor, labourers, low income group and needy people of the city by organizing continuous camps for the treatment of common diseases in the difficult situation like Corona period.

Medical staff of Mobile Medical Unit including former Councilor Rinku Rajesh Prasad, Assistant Engineer Tapan Agarwal, Dr. Trisha Singh, Sanitation Inspector KK Singh, APM Ishan Sharma and Bhavna Rajput were present on the occasion.
