Apart from this, you can also apply for voter ID card by visiting the site of National Voter Service Portal https://www.nvsp.in.
Both the portal and the app will ask for the necessary documents while applying, they will have to be uploaded. Voter ID card will reach your home through post within 15 to 20 days. Even before that e-Identity Card can be obtained on the App. In case of any inconvenience, the problem can be reported on the helpline number 1950.

Proof of age – 5th, 8th or 10th mark sheet, school issued birth certificate or Municipal Corporation birth certificate (any one).
Residence Certificate – Passbook, Ration Card, Driving License, Passport, Rent Nama, Water/Telephone/Electricity/Gas Connection Bill (any one).
